Hidden Missile Discovery - Adventures of GI Joe Comic Book CANADIAN VERSION RARE

As the late 1960s progressed and the war in Viet Nam saw more and more local protesting, GI Joe had to transition from his military beginnings to survive. He became an "adventurer" - exploring and conquering the sea, the jungle, the desert, and even space.  And even dangerous situations in the 'concrete jungle'.  In 1969, the first transition occurred and the adventures of GI Joe were now told in comic book form - included in the 1969 set offerings.  There were 12 comic in 12 sets in this first year.  Each one sequentially number.  This is #8 of the series: Hidden Missile Discovery - however, Hasbro Canada released two versions of the comic, to be included in each set - the standard US version and a black and white version written in French.  This is one of the latter - entitled "La Decouverte Du Missile Cache".
